FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about streaming Persian TV on FarsiTV Live — channels, playback, favorites, alerts and installing the app on your phone. Still stuck? Contact us.

Is FarsiTV Live really free?

Yes — 100% free. Watch all 156+ live channels with no account, no signup, and no credit card.

Which Persian TV channels can I watch?

Iran International, Manoto, BBC Persian, MBC Persia, VOA Persian, the full Persiana family (Cinema, Family, Series, Junior, Music, Vibe, Docs, Folk, Fight…), Tapesh, Avang, Navahang, GEM, PMC, IRIB networks, Kurdish, Arabic and many more — plus international HD networks like Bloomberg, France 24, DW, NHK, Sky News, Al Jazeera and Red Bull TV.

Why does a channel sometimes fail to play?

Broadcaster CDNs occasionally block browser origins or go offline for maintenance. FarsiTV Live automatically probes each stream and switches to backup URLs or a secure proxy. If a channel still fails, try again in a few minutes or open /health to see live status of every stream.

The player starts muted. How do I unmute?

Browsers block unmuted autoplay until you interact with the page. Tap anywhere or press M to unmute — after your first interaction on the page, we auto-unmute for you.

How do I go full-screen?

Use the full-screen button on the player, press F on desktop, or double-tap the video on mobile. Works on iOS Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Edge.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes — FarsiTV Live is a Progressive Web App. Tap Install app in the top bar (or Add to Home Screen from your browser menu) to launch it like a native app, full-screen, with an icon on your phone.

How do I save my favorite channels?

Tap the star icon on any channel to add it to Favorites. Your list is stored locally on your device — no account required — and appears under the Favorites tab on the home page.

Can I set a reminder for a show?

Yes. Open a channel and use the Alert button on the player to schedule a reminder. When it fires, the player switches to that channel and (optionally) shows a desktop notification. Configure lead time and sound in Alert preferences (footer).

Do you host or own the streams?

No. FarsiTV Live is a directory that links to publicly available broadcaster streams. All copyrights belong to their respective owners. See our Disclaimer for details.

What is FarsiRadio?

FarsiRadio is our sister project — a premium Persian radio portal with 200+ live stations. Tap the FarsiRadio button at the top of the page or visit farsiradio.com.

How can I request a channel or report a broken stream?

Open the Contact page and send us the channel name and, if possible, the working stream URL. We update the database frequently.
