Pars TV
About Pars TV
Pars TV is a Los Angeles-based Persian-language channel and one of the established names in Iranian diaspora broadcasting from Southern California. Its output is general entertainment and current affairs aimed at the Iranian-American community — political discussion and interview programming, cultural and music content, and community-facing formats. Like its LA contemporaries it emerged from a diaspora that arrived in significant numbers after 1979 and built its own media infrastructure because nothing else served it, and like them it carries a strong political register: diaspora channels of this generation are generally explicit about their opposition to the Iranian government, which distinguishes them sharply from commercial entertainment networks such as MBC Persia that avoid politics entirely.

Is Pars TV a news channel?
