DW News
About DW News
DW News is the English-language international news channel of Deutsche Welle, Germany's public international broadcaster, headquartered in Bonn and Berlin. It reports global news with a distinctly European and specifically German editorial vantage — coverage of EU politics, German domestic affairs and European policy is more substantial here than on most international news channels. DW is publicly funded through the German federal budget and operates under a legal mandate establishing its editorial independence. This channel is particularly relevant to our audience: Germany is the single largest source of visitors to this site, reflecting the size of the Iranian community there, and DW is the natural English-language complement to Farsi news coverage for viewers living in Germany.
